Staffing development
School leaders and governors must not only recruit good staff to begin with, but nurture and support staff for the duration of their time in the school. There are many sources of online information for career development, and you can use these channels to encourage colleagues in their career plans and give each other tips for the next step up or to help perform current duties efficiently and with maximum enjoyment for staff as well as pupils. The development tool recently launched on TeacherNet may be a good starting point.
