Education development plans (EDP)

Education development plans (EDPs) are key plans produced by each LEA setting out its strategies for improving standards in schools and raising pupil attainment. The plans are produced in accordance with guidance from the Secretary of State for Education and Skills, and submitted to the Secretary of State for approval.
