GTCE

The General Teaching Council for England (GTC) is the professional body for teachers. It's an independent organisation set up to represent teachers' professional interests and to support all teachers in providing the best possible educational opportunities for young people.

It works to raise the profile of the status of teachers and supports professionals in their professional development.
