Work-related learning became part of the curriculum for all Key Stage 4 pupils in September 2004.

Changes to the statutory requirements to the National Curriculum at Key Stage 4 have been made in Mathematics, Science and Design & Technology. There are also new entitlements which will affect all secondary schools.
