Curriculum bodies
Non-governmental public bodies help to set and regulate the curriculum and exams system as well as inspect all state schools. The QCA leads developments in the curriculum of study. Ofsted is the body responsible for inspecting schools - a process which is set to change and be simplified over the next few years.
